How To Play Cluedo
You play as one suspect; the other five are computer-controlled. One suspect, one weapon and one room
card are secretly set aside as the solution before the rest are dealt out, 3 cards to each suspect.
Movement
Roll two dice and move that exact total, one square at a time, through the corridors — you can't
cross a square another suspect occupies or cross the same square twice in one turn.
Entering a room ends your movement, even with pips left over, and you can't immediately re-enter the
room you started the turn in.
In a corner room with a secret passage (Kitchen ↔ Study, Conservatory ↔ Lounge), you may use it
instead of rolling.
Suggestions
Whenever you're in a room (having just moved there, used a passage, or simply still sitting there
from an earlier turn) you may make one suggestion: name a suspect and a weapon — the room is always
wherever you currently are. The named suspect's pawn and the named weapon move into that room.
Starting with the next suspect and going around the table, each is asked in turn: the first one
holding any of the 3 named cards shows exactly one of them to you privately, then asking stops. If
nobody can, that's useful information too.
Accusing
On your turn you may accuse: name any suspect, weapon and room. Get all three right and you win
immediately. Get it wrong and you're eliminated — no more turns or accusations — though your pawn
stays on the board and your cards can still be asked to disprove others' suggestions.
If every suspect is eventually eliminated with nobody solving it, the case ends in a draw and the
solution is revealed.
Notepad
Your own hand and anything shown to you are marked off automatically. Tap any other row to cycle your
own manual notes (blank → ✗ → ?) as you work out the case.
