How To Play Old Maid

All the cards are dealt out — but three queens have been removed, so the Queen of Spades is the Old Maid and she has no partner!

• Any pairs (two cards with the same number or picture) are put down straight away.
• On your turn, take one card from the face-down fan of the player next to you. If it makes a pair, it's put down too!
• When your last card is gone, you're safe. 😊
• The game keeps going until one player is left holding the Old Maid — and they lose!

Tip: if you're holding the Old Maid, keep a straight face and hope somebody takes her!
