How To Play Uno
You play as Me against three computer opponents. The goal is to be the first to play
every card from your hand. There are 108 cards: four colors (red, yellow, green, blue), each with a 0,
two each of 1-9, and two each of Skip, Reverse and Draw Two — plus 4 Wild and 4 Wild Draw Four cards.
Each player starts with 7 cards; the rest form a face-down draw pile with one card
turned up to start the discard pile.
Your Turn
Playing a card:
Tap a highlighted card in your hand to play it. A card is playable if it shares a color, number or
symbol with the top card of the discard pile, or if it's a Wild.
Wild cards:
A Wild can be played on anything, at any time, and lets you choose the next color. A Wild Draw Four can
only be played when you have no card of the current color in your hand — there's no challenge, that
restriction is simply enforced up front.
Drawing:
If you can't or don't want to play, tap the draw pile to draw one card. Drawing always ends your turn,
even if the card you draw could have been played — you'll just have it ready for next time.
Special Cards
Skip: the next player's turn is skipped entirely.
Reverse: play switches direction around the table.
Draw Two: the next player draws 2 cards and their turn is skipped.
Wild Draw Four: the next player draws 4 cards, their turn is skipped, and you choose
the next color.
Ending a Round
Someone empties their hand:
They win the round and score the combined value of every card left in everyone else's hands. Number
cards score their face value, Skip/Reverse/Draw Two score 20, and Wild/Wild Draw Four score 50.
Rounds keep being dealt until someone's total score reaches 500 — highest score
wins the game.
