Lormark Papas Games — Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Lormark Papas Games Android app from Lormark Ltd — eight games made for children of about four to seven: counting and early maths, copying patterns, dot-to-dot pictures, sorting and colours, spelling, memory, cards and jigsaw puzzles.
Our other apps work differently and are covered by our main privacy policy. This app has its own page because it is the simplest of them by a long way, and because a policy describing advertising would be misleading here.
The short version
This app collects nothing, sends nothing, and shows no advertisements. It has no internet permission, so it cannot contact us or anyone else even if it wanted to. Everything it saves stays on the phone.

What it collects
Nothing. There is no account, no login and no registration step. There is no analytics and no crash reporting. The app does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files or location, and there is no mechanism in it by which we could.
There is no online play, no leaderboard, no chat and no user-generated content, so there is no way to send anything to another player, to us, or to anybody else.
Advertising
There is none. The app contains no advertising of any kind, no advertising software, and no in-app purchases. It does not use your device's advertising ID and does not request permission to read it. Nothing about how the games are played is sent anywhere.
Permissions and internet access
The app requests no permissions at all — not even internet access. Every game is built into the app itself, so it works completely offline: in aeroplane mode nothing about it changes. It cannot see your location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.
What is stored on your device
The app saves your progress on the phone so you can pick up where you left off: which picture and size of jigsaw you were doing and where each piece had got to, how far through a dot-to-dot picture you were, your scores and best runs in the other games, which word lengths and number sizes you had chosen, and whether sounds, spoken words and celebrations are switched on.
This never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. Each jigsaw is saved separately, so starting one again with the New button clears only that one. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.
How long data is kept, and deleting it
There is nothing on our side to keep or to delete, because we receive nothing. The saved games and settings live only on your device and are gone when you uninstall the app.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data. For this app there is nothing to exercise those rights against, because no personal data is collected by it or received by us. If you would like that confirmed in writing, email info@lormark.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
This app is intended for children, and is designed accordingly. It shows no advertisements, collects no information from anyone including children, requests no permissions, and has no chat, no user-generated content and no way to communicate with other users. There are no links out of the app and nothing to buy.
Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children, and there is no parental consent for us to seek.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated date above will change. Were the app ever to start collecting anything, or to show advertising, this page would be updated before that version was released, and the change would be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
